Local, qualified instructors covering SG12 — Ware town, Stanstead Abbotts, Great Amwell and surrounding areas. From the A1170 and Baldock Street to the Star Street one-way, we know every road.
All lessons are one-to-one. Prepay a block of 10 hours and lock in a lower rate — your hours never expire.
Ware has a brilliant mix of roads to learn on — the busy A1170 High Street, the Star Street one-way system, the A10 dual carriageway, and quieter residential streets. Our instructors know the Priory Street roundabout, Viaduct Road and every other local road that comes up on test.
We cover Ware town centre, Stanstead Abbotts, Great Amwell and the surrounding SG12 area, collecting you from home, school or work at a time that suits you.
Learners from this area use one of three test centres depending on availability:
Bishop's Stortford Driving Test Centre
Enfield Driving Test Centre
Stevenage Driving Test Centre
We prepare you for all three — your instructor will know the routes from each centre and will make sure you're fully ready for whichever one your test is booked at.
Your instructor will know every road, junction and test route in the area before you ever sit your test.
If you're a beginner, Ware is a brilliant place to start learning. The quieter residential roads around King George's Field, Park Road and Amwell End give you plenty of space to get comfortable with clutch control, moving off and stopping without too much traffic pressure.
Once you've built your confidence on the basics, your instructor will introduce you to the busier roads — the A1170 High Street, Baldock Street, and the one-way systems around Star Street and Brewery Road. These are exactly the kinds of roads you'll face on your practical test.
The A10 dual carriageway is a key part of driving in this area. We'll make sure you're completely comfortable joining, exiting and driving at higher speeds long before your test day.
The Star Street one-way system catches many learners out. Your instructor will walk you through it slowly, building your awareness of lane positioning and exit points until it feels completely natural.
The Priory Street roundabout is another area we focus on — knowing which lane to be in and when to give way is essential for test success in Ware.
The A10 junction approaches require good mirror and signal discipline. We practise these regularly so that by the time you take your test, they're second nature rather than something to worry about.
